Created using acrylic and oil paints on canvas and completed on September 23rd of 2019, this painting was one of the first finished works inspired by Liza’s original song “Horizon Line”.

With its sweeping strokes and whimsical color story, “Sunrise Over Somewhere” is a picturesque scene high above the clouds, somewhere just out of reach. It is an idealistic representation of what Liza feels her life could be like, if only she could transcend circumstance, self doubt, and the “what-ifs” that plague her own life and relationships. None of us are perfect, and we all have parts of our story we wish we could rewrite. The song “Horizon Line” is an internal dialogue exploring themes of letting go and forgiveness, as Liza struggles with hanging on to the past, or moving forward.

PRINTS: All print sales are final. However if your order arrives damaged or is lost by the shipping carrier, please contact us immediately at support@lizacompass.com so we can make it right, and send you a replacement as soon as possible.

ORIGINAL WORKS: If for any reason you are unsatisfied with the artwork received from your online order and would like to return the piece for a full refund, you have 7 days from the date you receive the art to notify our team at support@lizacompass.com to begin the return process. From here, we will assist you with all aspects of the return directly.

We will gladly cover all shipping costs for returns inside the United States. For returns outside of the United States, we will work with you directly to come up with a reasonable accommodation.

Once the artwork is received back in perfect condition, we will happily issue a full refund.

Refunds will not be provided for artwork which has been damaged by the customer, or for return packages received with missing components from the original shipment, such as it's certificate of authenticity or any other valuable accompaniment to the art. All original works and limited edition prints are sent with signed certificates of authenticity which are also irreplaceable, and therefore must be returned with the artwork in perfect condition to be eligible for a refund.
