The original artwork "Bee Yourself" was created using colored pencil and ink on paper, and was completed on August 24th of 2021.
This drawing was created to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in a colorful and playful way. Each vibrant bee is symbolic of a different pride flag; each representing a wide variety of sexualities, gender identities and other queer identifiers. Liza wanted to create this piece because while she herself chooses to stay as far away from “labeling” herself or others as possible, she also realizes that for many, these flags are a symbol of empowerment, individuality, and a means of self identity for so many. Liza hopes this piece will assist viewers in opening up important conversations about self expression, love, and the fact that these things aren’t going to look the same for everyone; and that’s okay. Being yourself is never wrong; in fact, it’s the truest and most honest thing you could ever be.

PRINTS: All print sales are final. However if your order arrives damaged or is lost by the shipping carrier, please contact us immediately at support@lizacompass.com so we can make it right, and send you a replacement as soon as possible.
ORIGINAL WORKS: If for any reason you are unsatisfied with the artwork received from your online order and would like to return the piece for a full refund, you have 7 days from the date you receive the art to notify our team at support@lizacompass.com to begin the return process. From here, we will assist you with all aspects of the return directly.
We will gladly cover all shipping costs for returns inside the United States. For returns outside of the United States, we will work with you directly to come up with a reasonable accommodation.
Once the artwork is received back in perfect condition, we will happily issue a full refund.
Refunds will not be provided for artwork which has been damaged by the customer, or for return packages received with missing components from the original shipment, such as it's certificate of authenticity or any other valuable accompaniment to the art. All original works and limited edition prints are sent with signed certificates of authenticity which are also irreplaceable, and therefore must be returned with the artwork in perfect condition to be eligible for a refund.
